    • keep the computers that have some value and give away the rest.
  • Leasing
    • instead of purchasing the equipment needed, you could consider leasing the same from the supplier.
  • Ask supplier to take back packaging and unnecessary power cables
    • most packaging just gets left around and takes up storage space or is often not disposed of appropriately. Ask your supplier to dispose of the same for you.
  • Energy use of software
    • check the software that you are using and see how much power it draws when in use.
  • Environmental standards
    • consider the environmental criteria while purchasing the equipment
  • Procure computers with flash memory
    • computers with flash memory consume more energy than those with with spinning disks.
